Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor | Leicester or Nottingham, 2 days in office| 0-3 PQE
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a 0-3 PQE Personal Injury Solicitor to join a leading national defendant team specialising in catastrophic and large loss claims, in either Leicester or Nottingham.
This role offers the chance to work on some of the most complex and high-value personal injury matters in the market, including brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations and fatal accident claims. Working alongside experienced partners and specialists, you'll gain exposure to technically challenging litigation and major insurer clients from day one.
The Role
- Working on a mixed caseloaf of defendant motor, EL and PL claims
- Assist on catastrophic injury and large loss matters valued in excess of £350,000
- Liaise with clients, experts, insurers, witnesses and other key stakeholders
- Attend conferences, Joint Settlement Meetings and court hearings
- Prepare reports, litigation strategies and client updates
- Work closely with senior lawyers within a nationally recognised team
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (ideally 0-3 PQE, although other levels will be considered)
- Experience handling defendant personal injury claims, ideally motor and/or EL/PL though claimant will be considered
- Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive and collaborative approach
- Keen to develop a career in catastrophic injury and large loss litigation
