Are you an experienced Dispute Resolution Fee Earner looking for a new role in Chesterfield? This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern, fast-growing commercial practice that has built an outstanding reputation by delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice. Whether you're a Solicitor with 4-5+ years' PQE, a Chartered Legal Executive or an experienced Litigation Paralegal, this firm would like to hear from you.
About the Firm
Established less than 10 years ago, this specialist commercial law firm was founded with the ambition of creating something different. Rather than following the traditional law firm model, the business has built its reputation on being approachable, commercially minded and genuinely invested in both its clients and its people. It prides itself on providing strategic, practical advice whilst maintaining a warm and collaborative culture.
The firm has experienced impressive growth since opening its doors and continues to attract a significant volume of high-quality work from businesses across the region and nationally. Employees enjoy genuine flexibility, a trusting working environment and the freedom to manage their own workload without unnecessary micromanagement.
About the Role
You'll join a busy and growing Dispute Resolution team, working on a varied caseload, combining commercial litigation with a strong emphasis on commercial and property disputes. You'll advise businesses, landlords, tenants and individuals on a broad range of contentious matters, including contract disputes, commercial landlord and tenant issues, business tenancy renewals and terminations, dilapidations, possession claims, rent recovery, easement and covenant disputes, boundary disputes and title issues.
There is also plenty of opportunity to get involved in networking and business development as the firm continues its ambitious growth.
About You
You'll ideally be a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 4-5 years' PQE in Dispute Resolution, although experienced Litigation Paralegals with the ability to run files independently are also encouraged to apply.
You'll have experience handling commercial disputes, property litigation, or a mixture of both, and be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
Equally important is your personality. The firm is looking for someone approachable, positive and commercially minded who enjoys building strong client relationships and working as part of a close-knit, supportive team.
In return, you'll join a firm that genuinely trusts its people, offers excellent flexibility, provides a steady flow of quality work and gives you the opportunity to grow your career alongside a business that has gone from strength to strength since its launch.
