About the role
As an EL/PL Litigator, you will manage a caseload of EL/PL delegated authority fixed-fee cases, working closely with a Technical Support Lawyer to develop strategies and liaise with relevant parties. Your responsibilities will include handling pre-action disclosure, reviewing evidence, instructing counsel, and drafting key legal documents. The role offers a mix of working in the Bolton office and remote working, supporting your work-life balance while engaging in meaningful litigation work.
The ideal candidate
- Previous experience or assistance on EL/PL litigated files is essential
- Strong communication skills and confidence when liaising with internal and external parties
- Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively, demonstrating organisation and prioritisation skills
- Knowledge of handling evidence, investigations, and legal research
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work calmly under pressure
- A team player committed to achieving results within a supportive environment
