About the Firm

Sacco Mann is working with a modern and growing boutique law firm looking to recruit an Employment Associate Lawyer (NQ upward) into its specialist Employment team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive practice with an excellent reputation for delivering commercially focused legal advice to businesses, employers, and senior executives.

The firm has built a strong presence within the Yorkshire market and is continuing to grow its Employment offering through high-quality work, strong client relationships, and a collaborative team culture. They are keen to speak with ambitious Employment Lawyers who enjoy building client relationships, contributing to business development, and working closely alongside a highly experienced team.

The Role

The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious Employment Law matters acting predominantly for employers and senior executives.

The role will involve:

  • Advising on day-to-day Employment Law matters

  • Managing Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution

  • Providing commercially focused and pragmatic advice to clients

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, policies, handbooks, and settlement agreements

  • Supporting clients through complex and sensitive workplace issues

  • Keeping clients updated on legislative and case law developments

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Supporting networking, marketing, and business development activities

  • Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriate

This role offers a strong level of autonomy while still providing support and collaboration from senior colleagues within the team.

Candidate Requirements

Applications are welcomed from qualified Employment Solicitors with previous experience handling a broad Employment Law caseload.

The successful candidate will ideally:

  • Have strong experience across contentious and non-contentious Employment matters

  • Be confident managing Employment Tribunal claims independently

  • Demonstrate strong client care and communication skills

  • Enjoy networking and business development activities

  • Have a commercial and pragmatic approach to advising clients

  • Be organised, proactive, and collaborative in their working style

Candidates with experience advising employers and senior executives would be particularly well suited to this opportunity.
