About the Firm
Sacco Mann is working with a modern and growing boutique law firm looking to recruit an Employment Associate Lawyer (NQ upward) into its specialist Employment team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive practice with an excellent reputation for delivering commercially focused legal advice to businesses, employers, and senior executives.
The firm has built a strong presence within the Yorkshire market and is continuing to grow its Employment offering through high-quality work, strong client relationships, and a collaborative team culture. They are keen to speak with ambitious Employment Lawyers who enjoy building client relationships, contributing to business development, and working closely alongside a highly experienced team.
The Role
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious Employment Law matters acting predominantly for employers and senior executives.
The role will involve:

Advising on day-to-day Employment Law matters
-
Managing Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution
-
Providing commercially focused and pragmatic advice to clients
-
Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, policies, handbooks, and settlement agreements
-
Supporting clients through complex and sensitive workplace issues
-
Keeping clients updated on legislative and case law developments
-
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
-
Supporting networking, marketing, and business development activities
-
Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriate
This role offers a strong level of autonomy while still providing support and collaboration from senior colleagues within the team.
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from qualified Employment Solicitors with previous experience handling a broad Employment Law caseload.
The successful candidate will ideally:

Have strong experience across contentious and non-contentious Employment matters

Be confident managing Employment Tribunal claims independently

Demonstrate strong client care and communication skills

Enjoy networking and business development activities

Have a commercial and pragmatic approach to advising clients

Be organised, proactive, and collaborative in their working style
Candidates with experience advising employers and senior executives would be particularly well suited to this opportunity.
