Key Responsibilities
Within this Employment Solicitor role, you will be managing a varied and complex caseload of Employment matters ranging from:

- Unfair dismissal
- Discrimination
- TUPE
- Redundancy
You will be responsible for providing clear written and verbal legal advice, and managing communications with clients, opponents, Tribunals and third parties to progress files.
As well as this, you will act as a mentor to solicitors, trainees and paralegals in the team, contribute to the development of the department and conduct business development in the local area.
About You
- Be qualified Solicitor or CILEX with at least 3 years PQE
- Previous experience working within the Employment sector
- Proven experience of handling your own Employment Law caseload, working to and managing deadlines
- Fantastic client care and communication skills
- Able to commute to Preston
Desirable
- Previous experience within supervising Paralegals / Solicitors
- Experience conducting your own advocacy and attending tribunal hearings
- Previous experience with Business Development activities, with the ability to network with potential clients.
