Employment Solicitor

NEW OPPORTUNITY | MODERN, INNOVATIVE, CLIENT-CENTRIC ENVIRONMENT

Are you an ambitious Employment Solicitor looking to join a forward-thinking, client-focused organisation?

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a niche commercial law firm renowned for its modern approach and dedication to high-quality legal service. With a flexible hybrid working pattern, you’ll have the environment and support to develop your career in a dynamic and collaborative setting.

The organisation is known for its innovative and client-centric culture, prioritising tailored legal advice and building long-term relationships. The firm’s modern ethos creates an engaging environment where your expertise is valued and your professional growth is actively supported. They pride themselves on their reputation for delivering practical solutions across a broad spectrum of commercial legal issues, often within fast-growing, technology-driven sectors.

As an Employment Solicitor at junior to mid-level, you will advise a varied client base, mainly within the tech industry, on all aspects of employment law from a commercial perspective. Your work will include defending employment tribunal claims, handling business restructures, due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, TUPE obligations, redundancy procedures, and executive terminations. You will also manage settlement agreements, restrictive covenants, data protection matters, discrimination issues, and whistleblowing cases. Day-to-day responsibilities extend to HR-related issues such as recruitment, performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, absenteeism, and offboarding.

The role is also designed for involvement beyond traditional legal advice. You’ll be encouraged to participate in speaking engagements at events and conferences, as well as deliver training sessions for managers and HR professionals, broadening your engagement within the HR and legal communities.

Suitable candidates will have a solid grounding in employment law, with experience advising on its application from a commercial perspective. You likely have gained this knowledge in a reputable firm or in-house environment, with exposure to fast-paced sectors like technology. You should be proactive and confident in managing a diverse workload, with excellent communication skills and a keen interest in professional development. A willingness to participate in wider industry initiatives and a passion for inspiring others will help you thrive in this vibrant, supportive organisation.

Ready to take your career to the next level? If this role aligns with your career ambitions and you’re eager to join a firm dedicated to excellence, we would welcome your application.
