The Role
You'll manage a varied caseload of employment matters, providing pragmatic, commercial advice to employers and individuals across a wide range of sectors. You'll work closely with experienced colleagues while enjoying the autonomy to develop your own client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to conclusion.
- Drafting contracts of employment, policies and settlement agreements.
- Advising on disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies and restructures.
- Supporting clients with day-to-day employment law queries.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
- Qualified Solicitor status with experience in Employment Law.
- Strong technical knowledge across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to providing legal advice.
- The ability to manage your own caseload effectively.
- A genuine desire to contribute to the growth and success of the team.
