Employment Solicitor – Manchester | 1–6 PQE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a growing Manchester team within a leading national law firm.
This is a great opportunity for an Employment Solicitor at 1–6 PQE who is looking to develop their career, gain exposure to quality work and join a collaborative and ambitious team.
You’ll work across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious Employment matters, with a particular focus on Employment Tribunal litigation. The team advises both businesses and senior executives across a variety of sectors.
The role
You’ll have the opportunity to work on:
- Employment Tribunal claims and higher court proceedings
- Redundancies and large-scale restructures
- TUPE
- Disciplinary and grievance matters
- Absence and performance management
- Settlement Agreements
- Workplace investigations
- Advising businesses and senior executives
- Client relationship management and business development
You’ll also have the opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers, contribute to the development of the practice and support more junior colleagues.
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1–6 years' PQE
- Experience in Employment law
- A particular interest in contentious Employment and Tribunal work
- Strong technical and communication skills
- The ability to manage a varied workload
- A genuine interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development
