About the role
- Position: Employment Solicitor
- Practice Areas: Employment law – contentious and non-contentious matters
- Location: Derby (with flexible hybrid working options)
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line employment law support and representation to existing employer clients
- Assist individuals with settlement agreements
- Develop relationships with new clients through marketing and business development
- Collaborate across commercial teams to deliver integrated legal solutions
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to the growth of the employment team
- Strategically contribute to the expansion of the practice area
The ideal candidate
- A qualified solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE in employment law
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Strong business development and client management skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- A team player committed to a collaborative, high-performance culture
