Enfranchisement Partner - London

Leasehold Enfranchisement Partner | £100,000+ | Build & Lead a New London Team | Home-Based Initially | Genuine Leadership Opportunity

About the Firm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Leasehold Enfranchisement Partner to play a pivotal role in the next phase of growth for a highly respected specialist law firm. With an established reputation in property law and a successful presence outside of London, the firm is now making a significant investment in expanding into the London market.

This is a rare opportunity to lead the launch and development of a new London office, with genuine autonomy to shape the team, influence strategy and build a market-leading Leasehold Enfranchisement practice. The firm is well known for its technical expertise, collaborative culture and long-term commitment to investing in its people.

Initially home-based while establishing the London office, moving to a hybrid model (approximately 3 days in the office, 2 days from home) as the team grows.

The Role

This is a unique leadership opportunity for a senior Leasehold Enfranchisement Solicitor or Partner who is looking to take ownership of growing and developing a London-based practice.

You will:

  • Lead and develop a new London Leasehold Enfranchisement team.
  • Handle a broad range of complex leasehold enfranchisement matters, acting for leaseholders and dealing with high-value and technically challenging work.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with clients, referrers and professional contacts across the London property market.
  • Play a key role in shaping the firm's London growth strategy.
  • Mentor and develop future team members as the office expands.
  • Work closely with senior leadership while enjoying significant autonomy and responsibility.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical legal work with business development, leadership and strategic growth.

Candidate Requirements

The firm would be keen to hear from experienced Leasehold Enfranchisement Partners, Senior Associates, Legal Directors or other senior lawyers who can demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience advising on leasehold enfranchisement matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge and confidence handling complex files.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • The ambition to build and lead a successful London-based team.
  • Excellent client relationship and networking skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously while contributing to the wider firm's strategic objectives.

Previous management experience would be advantageous, although candidates with clear leadership potential and a genuine desire to build a team are also encouraged to enquire.

Benefits

  • Salary from £100,000+, with flexibility for the right individual.
  • Rare opportunity to establish and lead a new London office.
  • Home-based working during the initial growth phase.
  • Hybrid working as the office develops.
  • Genuine autonomy and influence over the direction of the London practice.
  • High-quality specialist leasehold enfranchisement work.
  • Strong long-term career prospects with leadership responsibility.
  • Supportive and ambitious senior leadership team.
