This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a thriving private family law team handling a varied caseload of privately funded matters.
The Role
This Family Solicitor position offers the opportunity to manage a high-quality caseload of private family law matters while working across two established offices in East Leeds.
You will advise clients on a broad range of family law issues including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private children matters
- Cohabitation disputes
- Pre and post-nuptial agreements
- Domestic abuse and protective injunction work
The successful candidate will manage files from initial enquiry through to conclusion, providing clear and practical advice while maintaining exceptional standards of client care.
The role will also involve court attendance and advocacy where appropriate, drafting legal documentation, liaising with counsel and experts, and contributing to the continued success of the department.
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with strong experience handling privately funded family law matters.
You will ideally have:
- Experience managing your own family law caseload independently
- Strong knowledge of divorce, finance and children matters
- Advocacy experience or a willingness to undertake advocacy work
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong drafting and negotiation abilities
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work
