Family Solicitor (Childcare / Legal Aid) | 4–8 PQE | Greater Manchester
Sacco Mann is working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Greater Manchester that is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor (4–8 PQE) with a strong focus on childcare and legal aid work to join its expanding team.

The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of publicly funded family matters, with a particular focus on childcare proceedings. This will include advising clients throughout the legal process, preparing legal documentation, and representing clients at court hearings where required.
You will be joining an experienced team that is committed to delivering a high standard of service while maintaining a supportive and flexible working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of childcare and legal aid family matters
- Advising clients on care proceedings and related issues
- Preparing and drafting legal documentation
- Representing clients at court hearings and liaising with relevant parties
- Maintaining high standards of client care, particularly when working with vulnerable individuals
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 4–8 years’ PQE in Family Law
- Strong experience in childcare and publicly funded (legal aid) work
- Knowledge of family law legislation and court procedures
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Children Panel accreditation, or working towards it, would be advantageous
