Our client, a well-established and growing private practice in Knutsford, is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor (7+ PQE) to join their expanding team. This is a senior opportunity with genuine scope to step into a Head of Department role, either immediately or as part of a longer-term progression plan.
The role offers a high level of autonomy, a warm and established client base, and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping and developing the firm’s family law offering.
The Role |
- Managing a broad and varied private family law caseload
- Acting as a senior point of contact for clients, delivering high-quality, pragmatic advice
- Opportunity to lead or develop into leading the Family Department
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
- Contributing to business development, referrals, and departmental growth
- Playing an active role in the continued expansion of the firm
About You |
- Qualified Family Solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE
- Strong experience managing family matters independently and confidently
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Leadership experience or a clear ambition to step into a Head of Department role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-care skills
- Commercially minded with an interest in business development
