Key Responsibilities
- Handling a mix of private law family matters (divorce, financial matters, private children cases, and domestic abuse)
- Managing a range of family court hearings, providing written and verbal legal advice, and liaising with clients, opposing parties, courts/tribunals.
- Supporting colleagues, contributing to team objectives, and collaborating across departments on joint projects.
- Building strong client and stakeholder relationships, supporting the firm’s reputation and business development.
About You
Essential:
- Qualified Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with relevant family law and advocacy qualifications, with between 2–5 years’ PQE.
- Experience within a private family law team.
- Experience across a range of matters including divorce, finance, private children, domestic abuse, and court proceedings.
- Working knowledge of legal aid.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
