Family Solicitor | Newcastle | Hybrid | Strong Benefits Package + bonus
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Family Solicitor with 2-5yrs PQE to join a well-established and highly regarded high net worth family team acting for clients across the North East region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially minded solicitor to work alongside experienced Partners within a supportive environment, handling a broad range of privately funded family matters, including high-net-worth cases.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of family and matrimonial matters including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy matters, including high-net-worth cases
- Private children matters
- Cohabitation disputes
- Pre and post-nuptial agreements
You will be responsible for providing clear and practical legal advice tailored to individual client circumstances, drafting high-quality legal documentation, and representing clients through negotiations, hearings, and advocacy where required.
The role will also involve:
- Conducting advocacy and attending court hearings
- Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with court procedures
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development and networking initiatives
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
- Keeping up to date with legal developments and ongoing professional training
About You
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with ideally a minimum of 2 years’ PQE up to around 5yrs PQE
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience advising on divorce, financial remedy, and private Children Act matters
- Be confident managing a varied caseload independently
- Possess strong advocacy and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Show strong commercial awareness and business development capability
