An established and highly regarded law firm in Greater Manchester is looking to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor or FCILEX to join its specialist Family Law team.
This is a great opportunity for a Family Lawyer who enjoys running their own caseload and is particularly interested in divorce, financial remedy and cohabitation work, with no children or childcare matters involved in the role.
The Role
You’ll manage your own varied caseload of privately funded and legally aided family matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy disputes
- Civil partnership disputes
- Unmarried and cohabiting couple disputes
- Related financial and relationship breakdown matters
You’ll have plenty of autonomy over your caseload while still benefiting from the support of an experienced and collaborative wider team.
Alongside your casework, you’ll assist with new enquiries, client advice sessions and the team’s wider business development and networking activities.
About You
The firm is looking for a Solicitor or FCILEX with around 2–8 years’ relevant experience who is confident managing their own Family Law caseload.
You’ll ideally have:
- Strong experience in divorce and financial remedy matters
- Experience running your own caseload
- Advocacy experience
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- A commercial yet empathetic approach
- An interest in networking and developing relationships with referral organisations
