About the Role
As a Family Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload of family law matters, providing sensitive, practical and client-focused advice throughout each stage of the process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of family law matters, appropriate to your level of experience.
  • Advising clients on a range of family matters, including divorce, separation, financial settlements and private children matters.
  • Drafting legal documents, court applications, statements and correspondence.
  • Representing clients in negotiations and working towards constructive resolutions wherever possible.
  • Preparing cases for court proceedings, liaising with counsel and attending hearings where required.
  • Building strong client relationships and providing clear, empathetic advice during often challenging circumstances.
  • Ensuring files are managed efficiently and in accordance with relevant legal procedures and deadlines.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high standard of client service and contribute to the wider success of the team.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Solicitor or legal professional with NQ-5 years PQE, preferably with family/matrimonial experience 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 
  • Ambitious, eager to develop professionally within a reputable team
  • Capable of managing caseloads with minimal supervision
