An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE, or equivalent experience, to join an expanding specialist family law practice in Cheshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor looking to develop their expertise in family law, take ownership of their own caseload and play an active role in growing their professional profile within a supportive and forward-thinking team.

With a strong focus on financial settlements arising from divorce, alongside children matters and exposure to complex financial cases, this role offers the opportunity to develop your technical expertise and build a rewarding long-term career.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload, predominantly involving financial settlements on divorce, with some Children Act matters. You will also work closely with partners, assisting on more complex financial matters and gaining valuable experience in sophisticated family law cases.

Alongside your fee-earning responsibilities, you’ll be encouraged to contribute to the firm’s continued growth, develop your own client relationships and build your reputation as an outstanding family solicitor.

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Experience handling a caseload of family law matters, particularly financial settlements on divorce.

  • Knowledge of Children Act matters.

  • The ability to manage files independently while recognising when to seek support on complex issues.

  • Strong communication, negotiation and client-care skills.

  • An ambitious, commercially minded approach, with an interest in business development and raising your professional profile.
