About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideally suited to someone who enjoys combining technical expertise, team management and client relationships. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of the residential conveyancing department, while continuing to manage your own caseload and acting as a senior point of contact for clients and the wider firm.
Responsibilities:

  • Leading, supporting and developing the residential conveyancing team. 
  • Overseeing the quality and progression of work across the department. 
  • Managing a caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity. 
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the team on more complex matters. 
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and dealing confidently with escalated or complex queries. 
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and client service. 
  • Contributing to business development and helping to grow the department's profile and client base.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in residential conveyancing
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong client relationship management abilities
  • Ambition to develop the department and improve processes
