The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting on behalf of an exciting client, who are seeing a Health Real Estate Solicitor for their Liverpool team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor with up to 3 years PQE to join a highly regarded team, supporting on transactional property work within the primary care sector. The role offers a diverse and challenging workload, with a strong focus on client responsibility and professional development.
The Role
The dedicated team in Liverpool are looking to recruit an ambitious Associate, to support on the delivery of transactional property work for primary care clients. Within this role, you will be given plenty of client responsibility and exposure (including travel) whilst being part of a supportive and collaborative team. As experts in their field, the team regularly advises NHS bodies and independent sector providers of health and social care services on a broad range of property matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide property support on primary care practice mergers, acquisitions, and land transactions
- Negotiate leases, licences, and landlord/tenant agreements
- Conduct title investigations and reporting
- Assist NHS Trust clients with portfolio management and NHS funding rules compliance
- Contribute to business development and client relationship building activities
- Support innovative contractual arrangements such as joint ventures and partnership agreements
- Engage in team collaboration and contribute to the wider health real estate practice
What They're Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor with proven experience in commercial property law, desirably within landlord and tenant matters
- Experience advising on property support for mergers, acquisitions, leasing, and portfolio management in the primary care or healthcare sector (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and research skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume caseloads effectively
- Proactive team player with a client-focused approach and a willingness to develop new legal pursuits
