About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Housing Disrepair Solicitor with 3+ years PQE to join a growing property litigation team in Manchester on a permanent, hybrid basis.
You will manage a high-quality caseload of housing disrepair claims from instruction through to resolution, working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. This role offers the chance to further develop your expertise while gaining greater responsibility within a respected and expanding team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of housing disrepair and property litigation matters
- Advising clients on housing conditions claims, landlord obligations and tenant rights
- Drafting legal documents, pleadings and correspondence
- Negotiating settlements and representing clients at hearings where required
- Ensuring compliance with pre-action protocols and court deadlines
- Delivering excellent client care and maintaining strong relationships
The Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years PQE in housing disrepair or property litigation
- Proven experience handling housing disrepair claims from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of housing law, landlord and tenant legislation, and civil procedure rules
- Excellent communication, negotiation and client management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
