About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Housing Disrepair Solicitor with 3+ years PQE to join a growing property litigation team in Manchester on a permanent, hybrid basis.
You will manage a high-quality caseload of housing disrepair claims from instruction through to resolution, working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. This role offers the chance to further develop your expertise while gaining greater responsibility within a respected and expanding team.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a full caseload of housing disrepair and property litigation matters
Advising clients on housing conditions claims, landlord obligations and tenant rights
Drafting legal documents, pleadings and correspondence
Negotiating settlements and representing clients at hearings where required
Ensuring compliance with pre-action protocols and court deadlines
Delivering excellent client care and maintaining strong relationships
The Ideal Candidate
3+ years PQE in housing disrepair or property litigation
Proven experience handling housing disrepair claims from start to finish
Strong knowledge of housing law, landlord and tenant legislation, and civil procedure rules
Excellent communication, negotiation and client management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
