About the Role
As Housing Disrepair Team Leader, you’ll have responsibility for leading and developing the team while continuing to handle your own caseload of Housing Disrepair matters.
You’ll be involved in:
- Leading, supporting and developing the Housing Disrepair team
- Managing a varied caseload of Housing Disrepair claims
- Handling complex cases from instruction through to resolution
- Providing technical support and guidance to the wider team
- Reviewing files and ensuring high standards of case management
- Mentoring and developing junior fee earners
- Identifying ways to improve processes and performance
- Supporting the continued growth of the Housing Disrepair department
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering excellent client care
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys the legal side of Housing Disrepair but is also ready to take on greater responsibility and influence.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a qualified Housing Disrepair Solicitor with strong technical experience and a genuine interest in leadership and team development.
You’ll ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor status
- Strong experience in Housing Disrepair and/or Housing Litigation
- Experience handling complex Housing Disrepair claims
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, or be ready to take that next step
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- A proactive approach to case management
- The ability to support, motivate and develop others
