About the role
This in-house legal team seeks a dedicated Commercial Paralegal to assist with contract reviews, legal advice, and supporting negotiations. The role involves working closely with solicitors in the legal team, engineering professionals, and external contacts such as insurers and solicitors. Your day-to-day duties will include conducting detailed contract reviews for liability and risk, supporting negotiations, maintaining legal databases, and assisting with claims and debt recovery processes. The position offers a fantastic chance to deepen your commercial law experience in a varied, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate
- Previous experience as a commercial contracts paralegal, ideally with a construction background
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external advisors
- Proactive approach to workload management, able to prioritise effectively
- Familiarity with contract review, risk assessment, and legal databases is advantageous
