About the role
As an Insolvency Solicitor, you will join a vibrant and established Leeds team, part of a larger national practice. Your responsibilities will include handling both contentious and non-contentious insolvency work, covering everything from corporate restructurings and administrations to contentious proceedings such as misfeasance claims, wrongful trading, and director breaches. The firm’s integrated approach means you’ll have opportunities to work closely with banking, corporate, and commercial dispute teams, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the insolvency cycle and broader commercial matters. You will be actively encouraged to get invovled in their networking and business development activities, something they would actively support you with.

The ideal candidate
The successful candidate will be a solicitor with 0-5 years’ pqe, ideally with prior experience or strong interest in insolvency. You should demonstrate a keen desire to develop across both contentious and non-contentious aspects of insolvency law, with an appetite for engaging in restructuring, corporate advice, and litigation. Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues are essential.
