Insolvency Solicitor | Newcastle | 5 PQE + | Flexible Working
An established full-service law firm based in Newcastle is looking to expand its team with the addition of an Insolvency Solicitor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing team, working on a varied range of corporate restructuring and insolvency matters. You will work with an interesting client base, including insolvency practitioners, company directors, creditors and investors, advising on complex business challenges and helping clients navigate financial difficulties and restructuring options.
The opportunity
- Manage your own varied caseload, advising on all aspects of corporate restructuring and insolvency.
- Advise insolvency practitioners, directors, senior management, secured and unsecured creditors and investors.
- Get involved in company restructurings, including solvent restructurings, Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs) and Restructuring Plans.
- Work across a range of insolvency matters, including administrations, liquidations and distressed business transactions.
- Support the continued growth of the team through business development and developing your own network of professional contacts.
About you
- A qualified Solicitor 5+ PQE
- Confident managing your own caseload and providing clear, practical legal advice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Able to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of client care and compliance.
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively but is also comfortable working independently.
- Interested in business development and developing your own professional network.
