The Business
Sacco Mann is delighted to be working alongside a that provides phone systems, unified communications, contact centre software, collaboration tools, and cloud communication services for organisations of all sizes. The group has grown significantly in size as a result of organic activity and acquisitions, and at the heart of the organisation sits a highly regarded and prominent In-house legal team.
The Role
Reporting remotely into the European Legal Director, who heads up a team across mainland Europe, you’ll act as a business partner to international stakeholders, with a primary focus in the UK & International region and will support the UK & International sales team on all aspects of the sales process, including responding to public and private sector RFPs and direct sales deals.
The legal function is at the heart of the organisation and supports several other functions including HR, facilities, trade compliance, litigation, procurement, corporate law /M&A etc, so you can expect a truly diverse and rounded caseload.
The person
This is a position which is very much supporting the existing team and is likely to suit a UK-qualified solicitor with around 3 years UK experience. The ideal candidate with have prominent experience supporting legal negotiations for the sale and/or procurement of hardware and software, cloud, managed services, maintenance and data processing agreements.
This is a remote position, but there is a preference to ideally recruit a solicitor based in the North, who is able to meet up and collaborate face to face with the European Legal Director from time to time.
There is a premium salary on offer for candidates with the ideal skill-set – though it should be noted that this is very much a commercial generalist position.
