The Client
We’re delighted to be partnering again with a global player in the specialist medical-nutrition sector. The group, which is a part of a larger recognisable brand, has grown and changed significantly through restructuring and acquisition, and continues to be a double-digit jewel in the crown, with ongoing investment by the parent, both in the business and its manufacturing capability.
The Role
Reporting into the UK Head of Legal, this is a fantastically varied role, within a business which is very “pro-legal.” No two days will be the same and you’ll enjoy exposure to key stakeholders on a number of legal issues which will cover; commercial contracts, intellectual property, data protection, compliance, advisory work and legal operations. You will work closely with colleagues across the business and with external legal advisers in multiple jurisdictions, in both developed and emerging markets.
The Person
As a UK qualified and experienced solicitor of at least 2 years PQE, you’re likely to be confident and inquisitive, with demonstrable communication skills and commercial acumen. It’s not about having all the answers, more so your ability to understand the issues/objectives and create a assurance.
You’re likely to have a background in commercial contracts, but exposure to any of the following IP, regulation, compliance, corporate or employment would be an advantage. Most important is your versatility, pragmatism and approachability. The legal team is well regarded and remains integral to the group.
