Litigation Paralegal | York | Varied Role
Are you a proactive paralegal looking for the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of litigation matters? This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive law firm in York and work closely with an experienced litigation team.
This is a varied role where you'll provide support across a range of contentious matters, including property litigation, family disputes and contested probate, as well as other litigation work as required. It's an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build on their litigation experience in a lovely local practice.
The Role
As a Litigation Paralegal, you'll work closely with the fee earners, assisting with a mixture of legal and administrative tasks, including:
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Preparing court bundles and case documentation.
- Managing files and supporting matters from instruction through to completion.
- Liaising with clients and third parties.
- Providing general secretarial and administrative support to the litigation team.
About You
The firm is keen to hear from candidates with some prior litigation experience, although it recognises that attitude and personality are just as important as experience. You will be:
- A paralegal or legal assistant with some exposure to litigation work.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload.
- A confident communicator with excellent attention to detail.
- Keen to learn and develop within a supportive team environment
