An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established law firm in Warwickshire.

This is a great opportunity for a contentious lawyer looking to develop their career within a broad-based litigation practice. You’ll work on a varied caseload, advising both businesses and individuals across a range of disputes, with genuine responsibility and regular client contact.

The role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced solicitors while developing your own caseload and building strong, long-term client relationships.

The Work will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of general commercial and civil litigation matters.
  • Advising clients on a broad range of contentious issues and disputes.
  • Handling matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
  • Drafting pleadings, correspondence, statements and other legal documentation.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing cases for hearings.
  • Negotiating with opposing parties and working towards settlements where appropriate.
  • Liaising with counsel, experts and other professional advisers.
  • Advising clients throughout the litigation process in a clear and practical manner.
  • Managing deadlines, costs and case progression effectively.
  • Working closely with senior members of the team on more complex disputes.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

About You

We’re looking for a solicitor with:

  • Experience in general litigation or a related contentious area.
  • Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing your own caseload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client care and relationship-building skills.
  • Good advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • A practical and commercially aware approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
