Sacco Mann is working with a prestigious, specialist law firm in Leeds, recruiting for the position of Litigation Solicitor, with around 0-3 years PQE. This is a fantastic opportunity to amass specialist experience, working with household-name clients in a fascinating sector, offering widely varied work. The successful candidate will have a background in litigation but the firm is entirely open on the nature of disputes you have been involved in. The range of work on offer here includes commercial litigation for major businesses, right through to civil disputes, regulatory issues and other industry specific matters. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to diversify their litigation experience. You will have an opportunity to be fully immersed in the sector and get involved in networking and speaking opportunities, locally and further afield.
Whilst knowledge of the travel industry and the nuances of travel law (such as PTRs, ATOL) and consumer protection is not essential, a real interest in this sector is paramount. The firm is happy to train and develop, and offers a supportive, dynamic working environment.
About you
- Qualified Solicitor (or Trainee approaching qualification) with experience in Litigation (this could be commercial disputes, personal injury or any other litigation background - the firm is open and happy to support and upskill).
- Background or interest in Travel Law
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexibly and autonomously
- Ability to work in Leeds on a hybrid basis - good public transport links
