About the role
This permanent role within the Military Claims team offers the chance to handle complex personal injury claims arising from military service. You will support clients through sensitive and often life-changing circumstances, including PTSD, brain injuries, amputations, and hearing loss. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) claims
- Drafting advice, legal documents, and witness statements
- Preparing instructions for medical experts and counsel
- Attending tribunal hearings and managing case files
- Supporting client relationships and contributing to business development activities

The ideal candidate
- A newly qualified Solicitor
- Experience supporting vulnerable clients with empathy and professionalism
- Strong communication and legal research skills

- Experience with military or AFCS claims is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
- Excellent academic background and ability to work independently or as part of the team
