The Role

This is an opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join an established, reputable team where you will enjoy a high degree of autonomy while benefiting from the support and guidance of experienced senior lawyers, alongside genuine opportunities for career progression and professional development. The successful candidate will work with a Varied caseload across Wills, Probate, Administration of Estates and Trusts Matters.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of family matters, including divorce, financial remedy and private children work
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients on a range of family law issues
  • Draft legal documents, correspondence, statements and court paperwork
  • Support negotiations, mediations and settlement discussions
  • Prepare cases for hearings and attend court where appropriate
  • Liaise with clients, counsel, experts and other professionals
  • Work collaboratively within the wider Family team while developing your own caseload and expertise

 

About You

  • A NQ Solicitor with experience in Family Law gained through training contract seats, paralegal experience, or equivalent legal experience
  • Experience across a range of family matters, including divorce, financial remedy and/or private children work
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to provide clear and practical advice to clients
  • Excellent client care skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism
  • Able to manage a varied caseload, prioritise competing deadlines and work effectively in a busy environment
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients, solicitors and other professionals
  • Organised, detail-oriented and proactive in their approach
