NQ Employment Solicitor | Midlands | Regional Firm | Hybrid
If you’re a newly qualified or soon-to-qualify solicitor looking to build your career in employment law within a well-regarded Midlands firm, this is a strong opportunity.
This is a chance to join an established Employment team known for delivering practical, commercially focused advice to both employers and employees. The team handles a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious work, while maintaining a supportive and approachable culture.
You’ll gain exposure to a varied caseload, combining early responsibility for your own matters with the opportunity to support senior lawyers on more complex and high-value cases.
The Role
You’ll be joining a specialist Employment team based in the Midlands, working with a diverse client base across both respondent and claimant matters.
Your work will include advising employers on day-to-day HR and employment issues, as well as supporting employees on a range of workplace matters. Alongside managing your own caseload, you’ll assist Partners and senior lawyers on more complex disputes.
You’ll be involved in a wide range of matters including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and grievance issues, as well as drafting contracts, policies and settlement agreements.
You’ll also gain experience supporting clients through Employment Tribunal proceedings, from initial instruction through to resolution, developing hands-on experience across all stages of the process.
The role offers a strong platform for development, with structured support and the opportunity to build both technical expertise and confident client advisory skills.
