The Opportunity
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join the highly regarded Real Estate team of a leading national law firm in Birmingham.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of high-value commercial property transactions and development projects across multiple sectors. You will work with an impressive client base including developers, investors, property companies, and corporate occupiers, advising on landmark transactions that shape the commercial property market.

Key Responsibilities
- Advising on acquisitions, disposals, and development projects involving commercial property assets.
- Assisting with the structuring of transactions, conditional contracts, option agreements, and joint venture arrangements.
- Supporting clients on pre-let agreements, landlord and tenant matters, and sale-and-leaseback transactions.
- Drafting and negotiating a variety of legal documents, including contracts, leases, transfers, licences, and ancillary documentation.
- Conducting title investigations, reviewing searches, raising enquiries, and managing post-completion requirements.
- Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex transactions while developing and managing your own caseload.
- Building strong relationships with clients and liaising with agents, surveyors, and other professional advisers.
- Contributing to business development activities, networking events, and client initiatives.
About You
- Newly Qualified Solicitor with real estate experience gained during training contract
- Strong technical, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Commercially aware with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Organised, motivated, and capable of managing competing priorities effectively.
- Ambitious and keen to develop a successful career within a leading real estate practice.
