|Patent Administrator| 1+ Years Experience|Mainly Remote Working
Long established, leading intellectual property law firm who work with some of the world’s most forward-thinking organisations is seeking a talented Patent Administrator to join their friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative professional environment.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality support to a major client, helping manage the full lifecycle of patent and design applications. Working closely with attorneys, administrators, and other teams across the business, you’ll ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with both client and firm processes.
This role combines administration, client service, and coordination responsibilities, with a strong focus on accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing patent and design application administration from instruction through to completion
- Maintaining and updating the case management system accurately on a daily basis
- Preparing official forms for UK, European, and international patent filings
- Managing inboxes, processing correspondence, and acknowledging client communications
- Preparing invoices and supporting e-billing processes
- Producing documents, reports, presentations, and standard correspondence
- Organising travel, accommodation, and expenses where required
- Supporting attorneys and collaborating with wider business teams
- Assisting with client meetings, pitches, and onboarding activities
- Providing general administrative support and assisting with team cover when needed
About You
Highly organised, adaptable, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team?
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous patent administration experience, ideally at least a year.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure
- Good Microsoft Office skills and confidence using databases or case management systems
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
