Superb offering for a Patent Paralegal seeking a dynamic role in London. Our client, an impressive IP practice, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their collegiate team.
You will support fee earners by managing formalities related to patent filings across UK, European, International, and PCT applications. Your responsibilities will include preparing documentation, maintaining case records, liaising with IP offices and overseas agents, handling client correspondence, monitoring deadlines, and assisting with billing and administrative tasks.
Ideally, you’ll have a few years’ experience in IP Formalities; however, this superb opportunity is also open to graduates with an interest in moving into the IP space, and/or those with transferable skills who work in a legal or other professional services environment will be warmly considered.
Skills you need:
Strong attention to detail and solid organisational skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work independently, prioritise, and meet deadlines
Good communication skills and a personable, approachable manner
Able to learn new systems and procedures quickly
Candidates with an established career in IP, or a graduate, or those with a legal or professional services environment, are preferred
Certifications such as CIPA Introductory Certificate in Patent Administration are desirable, but not essential
