This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Chartered Legal Executive to join a thriving Wills, Estates & Tax Planning team known for delivering high-quality advice to a diverse client base. The team handles a broad range of private client matters, including complex and high-value estates, and advises high-net-worth individuals, business owners, farming families and trustees.
The Role
This Private Client Chartered Legal Executive position offers the opportunity to manage a varied and rewarding caseload while working alongside experienced specialists within a growing department.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of private client matters.
- Drafting Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Handling Estate and Trust Administration matters.
- Advising high-net-worth, business and agricultural clients.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documentation.
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the department.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Participating in networking and business development activities.
- Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting team development.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
This role offers exposure to complex and high-value private client work while providing genuine opportunities for progression and professional development.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Between 2 and 6 years' PQE experience within Private Client law.
- Experience handling Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- STEP qualification, be working towards STEP, or have equivalent technical expertise with a willingness to undertake the qualification.
- Excellent client care and relationship management skills.
- A proactive approach to business development and networking.
- Strong technical ability and attention to detail.
- The desire to contribute to the long-term success of a growing team.
