About the Firm

Due to continued growth within its Private Client department, the firm is looking to recruit a Probate Solicitor or Private Client Executive to join its well-established York office.

The Role
This Private Client role will involve managing a varied caseload of matters including:
- Drafting Wills
- Probate and Estate Administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Inheritance and succession planning
- Client meetings and advisory work
- Supporting colleagues within the wider Private Client team
- Managing files from instruction through to completion
- Business development and relationship building where appropriate
You will have the autonomy to manage your own caseload while benefiting from the support of an experienced team and established client base.
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from:
- Solicitors, Legal Executives or experienced Fee Earners
- NQ Solicitors with relevant Private Client experience
- Experienced Probate Solicitors looking for their next career move
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
- Experience handling Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney matters
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
- A proactive and team-focused approach
- The ability to manage deadlines effectively
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to occasionally support nearby offices if required
