Sacco Mann is working with a lovely regional practice who is recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join their busy Private Client department in their Ilkley office.

The Role
As a Legal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to Fee Earners, ensuring client matters are handled efficiently and in line with firm and regulatory standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing client matters accurately using the Proclaim case management system
- Preparing, organising, and archiving legal files
- Diary management
- Drafting client correspondence via audio typing, word processing, and digital dictation
- Handling client and third-party calls and enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
- Managing incoming emails, post, and general administrative tasks
- Assisting with the witnessing of wills and other legal documents
- Supporting with billing
About You
- Previous experience in Wills and Probate is essential
- Highly organised, efficient, and able to prioritise workloads effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Confident in dealing with clients in a sensitive and professional manner
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (experience with Proclaim is beneficial but not essential)
