An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Staffordshire.

The Role

You'll manage your own broad private client caseload, advising clients on a wide range of matters while providing practical, sensitive and commercially focused advice.

Your work will include:

  • Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning matters
  • Administration of estates and probate matters
  • Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Advising on trusts and trust administration
  • Inheritance Tax planning
  • Court of Protection matters where appropriate
  • Providing tailored advice to individuals, families and business owners
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Assisting with business development and maintaining relationships with local referrers and professional contacts

This role offers exposure to a varied and high-quality caseload with the autonomy to manage matters independently while working closely with experienced colleagues where required.

About You

This opportunity would suit a Private Client Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE who enjoys building trusted client relationships and delivering an exceptional level of service.

You'll ideally have:

  • 3+ years' PQE in Private Client law
  • Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate, LPAs and estate administration
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • A compassionate and personable approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A collaborative and proactive mindset
  • An interest in developing long-term client and referrer relationships

STEP qualification, or a desire to work towards it, would be advantageous but is not essential.
