You'll be working for a well-established regional law firm with a strong reputation for providing high-quality legal advice to both individuals and businesses. The firm combines a long-standing presence in the local market with a modern, forward-thinking approach, offering a broad range of legal services across its specialist teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied private client caseload, including wills, tax planning, estate administration including those estates with business and agricultural assets, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.
- Provide clear, practical and sensitive advice to individuals, families, business owners and elderly clients.
- Handle complex matters with appropriate supervision and autonomy
- Maintaining high standards of client care and technical accuracy.
- Support the growth of the department through relationship building, cross-referrals and business development activity
- Work collaboratively with partners, colleagues and support staff
The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified Solicitor with a strong private client background and a minimum of 5 years’ PQE.
- Confident managing a broad and technically varied caseload with a high level of client contact.
- Commercially aware, organised and able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate sensitively with clients.
- An interest in contributing to the future development of the team
