An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Probate Paralegal to join a well-established and growing Private Client team in Greater Manchester. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in law, with genuine opportunities to progress through a CILEX qualification, Solicitor Apprenticeship, or Training Contract in the future.
The Role
Within this Probate Paralegal role, you will be working closely with experienced legal professionals, you'll manage your own caseload and support clients through important life events. The role involves advising on and preparing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and estate administration matters, while delivering a professional and compassionate service to elderly clients and their families.
Your duties may include:
- Manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion
- Take instructions and draft Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation
- Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional service
- Visit clients in their homes, care settings, and other locations as required
- Work collaboratively within a supportive and friendly team
- Develop your legal knowledge and transferable skills across the business
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- At least 12 months previous experience handling Wills, LPAs and/or Estate Administration matters
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and client care skills
- A proactive, positive, and professional approach
- A genuine ambition to develop a career in law
- Strong IT and document drafting skills
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
