Professional Negligence Solicitor | 3+ PQE | Excellent Work Quality | Major International Law Firm

We are seeking a Professional Indemnity Solicitor to join a leading international law firm's highly regarded professional indemnity team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile matters for top insurers, offering a blend of supervisory responsibilities and direct client engagement.

As a key member of the team, you will mentor junior lawyers, oversee complex cases, and work closely with senior colleagues on a broad spectrum of insurance and professional negligence claims.

About You

  • Solicitor with experience in Professional Indemnity law, or perhaps experience in another insurance related discipline or general commercial disputes, with an interest in focusing on professional indemnity work
  • Approximately 3+ PQE but this is given as a guide. Lawyers with less PQE but solid experience are of course welcome to apply. The firm will consider an appointment at a more senior level also.
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload involving the defence of professional negligence claims
  • Strong client-facing skills, with the confidence to handle relationships with major insurers and insured professionals
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Flexible, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality legal advice and support

This role offers the chance to join a forward-thinking, collaborative team within a global firm renowned for excellence in insurance and professional indemnity work.

Benefits include a competitive package, ongoing professional development, a supportive working environment with hybrid working options, and opportunities for career progression within a well-established international network.
