Key Responsibilities
- Keeping the Employment team up to date with legal developments and changes in employment law.
- Providing technical guidance, legal support, and resources to colleagues.
- Assisting with complex matters and contributing to case strategy.
- Producing engaging legal content for clients, marketing materials, and online publications.
- Delivering internal and external training sessions and promoting best practice.
- Supporting business development and thought leadership initiatives.
- Maintaining high standards of client care, compliance, and professional practice.
About You
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE.
- Strong background within Employment Law.
- Experience handling a broad range of employment matters including unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, and redundancy.
- Confident delivering presentations and training sessions to clients and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team environment.
- A collaborative and professional approach aligned with organisational values.
Desirable
- Experience advising clients within sectors such as Education, Housing, or Local Government.
- Previous experience in a Professional Support Lawyer or knowledge-focused role.
