The Role
- Advising a varied client base on a broad range of property disputes
- Handling complex and high-value property litigation matters
- Acting for landlords, tenants, developers, investors, property owners and businesses
- Advising on landlord and tenant disputes
- Dealing with lease interpretation and breach of covenant matters
- Handling boundary, easement and rights of way disputes
- Advising on dilapidations and property-related contractual disputes
- Managing disputes from initial advice through to resolution
- Conducting negotiations, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution
- Representing clients in court proceedings where required
- Providing commercially focused and practical advice
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships

Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own property litigation caseload
- Advising on a broad range of property disputes
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, witness statements and other legal documentation
- Handling negotiations and settlement discussions
- Advising clients on litigation strategy, risks and potential outcomes
- Conducting legal research and reviewing evidence
- Preparing matters for hearings, mediation and trial
- Liaising with clients, counsel, experts and other professional advisers
- Maintaining high standards of client care and file management
- Contributing to the continued development and reputation of the property litigation practice
About You
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Property Litigation and be looking to join a specialist practice where quality of work and quality of life are equally important. You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in Property Litigation
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of property disputes
- Experience handling matters independently from instruction through to resolution
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
- Strong understanding of landlord and tenant disputes
- Experience with wider property disputes such as boundaries, easements, covenants or dilapidations
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide pragmatic advice
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive and collaborative approach
- An interest in working within a boutique environment where quality is prioritised over volume
- A genuine desire to maintain a strong work-life balance alongside a high-level legal career
