Property Litigation Solicitor

Leeds | Experienced Solicitor | Flexible Working | Excellent Career Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to join a growing property litigation team at a pivotal stage in its development.

Are you an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor looking for your next career move? Would you like to work on high-quality commercial property disputes, enjoy genuine flexibility in how you manage your career and play a part in the growth of an ambitious team?

We are working with a highly regarded commercial law firm that is investing in its Leeds presence and continuing to grow its real estate disputes practice. With significant new clients being onboarded and an expanding portfolio of work, this is an excellent time to join a team with real momentum and the opportunity to shape your own future.

The opportunity

This role offers more than simply joining an established team. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, develop client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice, with the support of experienced specialists and a wider commercial law firm behind you.

The work is varied, high quality and commercially focused, including:

  • Commercial landlord and tenant disputes, including lease renewals and possession matters.

  • Dilapidations claims and disputes concerning lease obligations.

  • Property disputes involving developers, investors, landlords and occupiers.

  • Rights of light, nuisance, trespass and other land-related disputes.

  • Injunctions and complex property litigation, including High Court matters.

  • Telecoms-related property disputes and other specialist real estate litigation.

You will have the opportunity to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy, work closely with clients and colleagues, and become involved in the development of the team's offering as the practice continues to expand.

Why consider this role?

A genuinely exciting time to join. The team is growing, significant new clients are being onboarded and the pipeline of work is developing. You will be joining at a stage where your contribution can make a real difference.

Flexibility and autonomy. The firm recognises that experienced lawyers have different priorities and career ambitions. There is scope for flexibility in how the role develops, with an emphasis on trust, responsibility and delivering excellent client service.

High-quality work. Gain exposure to substantial commercial property disputes and a varied client base, working alongside recognised specialists in real estate litigation.

Career development. Whether you want to deepen your technical expertise, take on greater responsibility or develop your own client relationships, the role offers scope to progress and help shape the future of the practice.

A collaborative environment. Benefit from the expertise and resources of a wider commercial law firm, with opportunities to work alongside colleagues in other teams.

The chance to make an impact. As the Leeds offering develops, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, strengthen client relationships and play a meaningful role in the team's continued success.

Who are we looking for?

We are keen to hear from experienced Property Litigation Solicitors, ideally with 6+ years' PQE, although candidates with a different level of experience will be considered where they can demonstrate the right skills and potential.

You will have a strong grounding in commercial property litigation, sound technical ability and a pragmatic, commercially minded approach to resolving disputes.

You should also be confident managing your own caseload, communicating effectively with clients and building strong working relationships. An interest in business development and contributing to a growing practice would be an advantage, but you do not need to be an established rainmaker to be considered.

Most importantly, you will be looking for a role where you can do excellent work, enjoy genuine flexibility and be part of something that is moving forward.
