About the role
- Lead on Real Estate Finance deals and CRE Structured Debt transactions across a broad spectrum of assets
- Draft and negotiate complex finance documents, including facility agreements, syndication and mezzanine documentation, and intercreditor arrangements
- Handle financing for various property types, from offices and residential to retail, hotels, and logistics, leveraging a range of financial tools
- Manage deal teams comprising junior associates, trainees, and paralegals within a collaborative, cross-location environment
- Develop and nurture key client relationships, engaging with lenders, investment funds, developers, and property companies
- Contribute to the firm’s sector expertise by participating in specialist teams and supporting the mentoring of junior colleagues.
The ideal candidate
- 5+ years PQE with substantial experience in Real Estate Finance and Structured Debt
- Strong understanding of key legal and market concepts in real estate financing
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative team player with an enthusiasm for developing junior talent
