The Opportunity

Working closely with solicitors and fee earners, you will help manage a varied caseload of property transactions within a busy and well-established real estate team. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, organisation, and excellent client care are key.

The work will include a broad mix of commercial property matters, including complex and high-value transactions, giving you valuable exposure and the chance to strengthen your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting solicitors and fee earners with the smooth running of property transaction files
  • Drafting and preparing transaction summaries and reports, including land agreements, development agreements, transfers, and sectional agreements
  • Reviewing due diligence searches and contributing to reports on title
  • Preparing and inputting reports on title for development site acquisitions
  • Assisting with land transfers, including pre- and post-completion work such as preparing statements, submitting priority searches, and liaising directly with clients
  • Handling Land Registry applications and responding to requisitions
  • Drafting ancillary legal documentation such as deeds of covenant, Land Registry certificates, and transfers

About You

You will be organised, proactive, and commercial, with the confidence to support busy fee earners while delivering a high standard of service to clients.

  • Minimum 2:2 degree in Law (or completion of a recognised conversion course)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing or commercial property
  • Strong legal research and drafting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic with a positive approach
