The team is involved in a broad range of work, from site acquisitions and strategic land transactions through to development agreements and large-scale regeneration schemes.

The Work
- Advising national and regional housebuilders, developers, landowners, and promoters on residential development matters.
- Leading on strategic land acquisitions, conditional contracts, option agreements, promotion agreements, and development agreements.
- Managing complex site acquisitions and disposals for residential-led schemes.
- Advising on infrastructure arrangements, collaboration agreements, and regeneration projects.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while acting as a trusted commercial adviser.
- Working closely with colleagues across planning, construction, corporate, banking, and other specialist teams.
- Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
- Playing an active role in business development, networking, and client relationship management.
Candidate Requirements
- Experienced Real Estate lawyer with significant expertise in Residential Development work.
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions and provide commercially focused advice.
- Strong client relationship and business development skills.
- Existing connections within the residential development market would be advantageous.
- A collaborative leadership style and a commitment to developing junior talent.
- Commercially minded with the ambition to contribute to the continued growth of a successful national practice.
- Existing partner-level experience is welcomed, although senior lawyers seeking a realistic and supported route to partnership will also be considered.
