Are you an experienced residential property professional based in Harrogate looking for a role where quality matters as much as commercial success?
We are working with a well-established law firm seeking a technically strong and motivated Residential Property Lawyer to join its residential property team. This opportunity would suit a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or an experienced conveyancing professional qualified through experience, who takes pride in delivering excellent client service and building lasting relationships.
You’ll handle a varied residential property caseload, including sales, purchases and remortgages, with the opportunity to work on interesting and sometimes complex agricultural property matters.
The firm places real emphasis on high-quality work, repeat business and manageable caseloads, giving you the opportunity to focus on doing the job well and providing a first-class service to clients.
The Role
- Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload with appropriate autonomy.
- Handling technically challenging residential property matters, including agricultural work.
- Building strong client relationships and encouraging repeat business
- Supporting, mentoring and developing colleagues within the team.
- Contributing to the growth of the department through networking, marketing and business development.
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical, client-focused approach. You will ideally have:
- Experience of managing residential sales, purchases and remortgages with minimal supervision.
- Strong conveyancing knowledge and the confidence to deal with complex matters.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- The ability to support, mentor and encourage colleagues.
- A commercial mindset, with an appreciation for the value of client relationships, repeat instructions and business growth.
- A commitment to professional development and maintaining high standards of work
You may be a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or an experienced conveyancing professional who has developed the necessary expertise through practical experience.
